Do the math. But, expectations kill teams. Hope the kids close their eyes to the press and this board or, getting past the Nueces will be an Al Bundy story. I'm sure San Benny and Weslaco are licking their chops about now and comparing strenth's of schedule. Glory is fleeting. It's week to week. I hope for the best. This has the potential to be one off the great teams. I can't comment on the Lopez game other than to say, I complement the Lopez Head Coach for not laying down. They did their best and there are lessons in defeat.
District 32-5A shows fire power in Week 4 By Mike Gonzalez The Brownsville Herald
"Thus far in the season, the Falcons are averaging 42 points per game, the highest in the district, while the Greyhounds have given up the lowest with just over 14 per game and possess the best defense in the Rio Grande Valley statistically speaking. A fan pretty much sees the whole package when you think about it. In The Herald’s Top 10, three squads represent 32-5A."

Los Fresnos has a great team. not just because I am a falcon fan but I think that if you were to put los fresnos against any team in the valley this year los fresnos can take anyone of them. If Los Fresnos can play a game without costly mistakes like fumbles, interceptions, and big penalties...there is no doubt in my mind los fresnos can compete with the "big boys" north of us com e playoff time(not to get ahead of myself). Right now everyone in the district is looking foward to playing the falcons...."to be a champion you must beat the champions" is what Lopez's coach said before the game on friday in the paper and im sure every team is dreaming about beating Los Fresnos as well. A bullseye is on Los Fresnos...we need to stay on our A game, every play, every game and not relax for any team. Anyways...I hope this week's game is just as successful as last week with some finer tuning up and GO FALCONS!!!!
