I want to first thank the owner of this website (TEAMFALCON) for ALL of your support to our small town of Los Fresnos. You have helped us get important news, views and most of all support to many imporant issues that our town has faced in the past years of existance.
I personnaly want to thank you for assisting our athletic program and their promotional videos to college teams. I am more than sure that the Springer boys hae thanked you for assisting them and I also hope they recognize you as a major factor of their success.

Jerry has yet to come over for his autographed picture. ;D The boys were completley unaware of what kind of a roll Jerry played in their taking it to the next level until recently. I'd come home and tell them of something that was said about them on such and such forum and they'd ask how I'd heard about it and I'd tell 'em Jerry. I'd point them to some of the boards that Jerry has been involved with and they'd sit down and read them. They know now. Unfortunatly they are shy kids and I'm fairly certain you won't see them posting a Newbler length thread thanking him and everyone else in our little town for the support and love you've shown not only my 2 but our entire team... but I will. It's been amazing how you guys have embraced these kids over the last few years and we appreciate the hell out of it. However, they couldn't have done it without the other kids that made up their team. This has been a special group of kids and we have known since they were in 7th grade that they (class of 2007-2008) were going to do great things. I'd also like to thank the kids that graduated ahead of the 2007 group. They were a bunch of great kids and took our kids under their wing. As parents we can only do so much to shape our kids but how they turn out also has a lot to do with the kids they hang out with. Chuch (sp), Brandon, Eric Walker, Chris and countless others took our 2007 class under their wing and kept them on the straight and narrow. They took them to the right places to hang out, kept their heads straight and focused and gave them morals that if we try and give would be considered nagging by our kids. I hope Jeremy and Justin have done their part to continue that tradition and I hope that Mario and Eloy will continue it further and pass it to another group of kids. From the bottom of my heart and for my wife and kids, I thank you. It's been a helluva ride and I look forward to seeing that ride continue in the coming years for Falcon football. As for those of you that left early in the past 3 years....

Aw Shucks friends........you're making me blush.
I didn't do anything guys.......
Remember, the MAIN REASON I created this site was because I saw two young student/athletes, who were in Jr. High at the time, practicing football in the middle of summer. I would see them over and over again, timing each other around our block, tossing a football against a piece of plywood with a hole in it (I'm assuming it was Jeremy), running drills.
Until finally I walked up to them one hot summer day while they were practicing in the empty parking lot in front of the white church on Paredes Ln.
I introduced myself to these young men. They were about 6'1 at the time and maybe in 7th or 8th grade.. and I asked them, "What are you guys doing...I see you guys out here everyday".
Their response, "Getting ready for football season".
What started as a website to showcase up and coming athletes has evolved into what we have now.
So I thank you Justin and Jeremy. I thank you for your hard work and determination. Good luck to you.
Get that Degree.
